Everyone deserves to have a beautiful space to come home to no matter where you live, and the perfect room to focus on is your bedroom. White is not the only neutral palette you have to work with to create a retreat. Here we show a medium tone of taupe as paint for the walls. It’s the perfect backdrop for the rustic headboard and dresser.

Take down that dusty loud ceiling fan and replace with a romantic chandelier that will add ambient lighting.

Try keeping your computer and other electronics out of the master bedroom. Keep it peaceful with a sitting chair or two. You want to create a space that won’t remind you of work!
